JAIPUR - THE PINK CITY

 Jaipur is the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan, India. It is also polpularly known by the name of "Pink city" due to dominant colour of the city which is pink.The city is also known for its arts and crafts, which is unique and colourful. Let me walk you to the short history of Jaipur (how it got its name as pink city) . The story dates back to 1876, when the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour. For his visit, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur commanded to paint the entire city pink since the colour symbolises hospitality. Since then to this date, Jaipur has preserved the architecture and beholds the beauty. Today, it has become the centre of attraction for tourists. There is always something to see in Rajasthan. GOLDEN TEMPLE- One of Amritsar's greatest attractions and spiritual hub

Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib which means "abode of god." It is located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The temple is a two-storeyed structure with its top half covered in almost 400 kg of pure gold leaf. It has a square plan with four entrances, has a circumambulation path around the pool. Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the leader of the Sikh empire, is believed to have initiated the construction in the 19th century. The remaining of the temple is built in white marble, inset with precious colourful stones. The Golden Temple is an open house of worship for all men and women, from all walks of life and faith. One must cover one’s head and remove his/her footwear before entering the Golden Temple, as a mark of respect. One can also have free meal that is offered there to around 20,000 people every day at the Guru Ka Langar which is community meal. The entire process is managed by volunteers. MY VISIT TO NAINITAL-SAMTSE

I woke up to see beautiful sunrise, the warmth it radiated as i soaked myself in it with a cup of tea. Birds chriping in the distance, i was lost and mesmerised in the beauty of the place, serene and tranquality. It was such a wonderful day to begin with. Nainital is located in Samtse dzongkhag of Bhutan. Since it is located in the southern part of the country, you hardly see mountains around which is the best part, for me. Bhutan being a landlock country, very few places have plains and samtse in one of them.   So i visited to this place after i came back from my college recently. I have heard about this place alot from my friend which made me very excited and tempted to explore the beauty of Nainital. So i packed my bags and set my journey towards Nainital.
